Abdulrahman Al-Khamis & SHIFT Ai

SHIFT Ai is Kuwait's first AI filmmaking studio, founded by Abdulrahman Al-Khamis. It produces AI-generated films and commercial video, and runs hands-on AI filmmaking workshops culminating in the SHIFT Ai Film Festival.

Who is Abdulrahman Al-Khamis?

Abdulrahman Al-Khamis (عبدالرحمن الخميس) is a Kuwaiti film director and the founder and creative director of SHIFT Ai. He works at the intersection of filmmaking and artificial intelligence — directing AI-generated films, producing commercial video for Kuwaiti brands and government bodies, and teaching the craft to a new generation of creators.

He has trained more than 800 students across 15+ hands-on workshops, and founded the SHIFT Ai Film Festival, which has now run for more than 15 editions and gives every workshop cohort a screen to premiere on.

He is an accredited trainer, and workshop certificates are issued by DACUM for Consulting & Training (ديكم للاستشارات والتدريب).
