The four-day plan

  1. Foundations, prompts and generation

    The AI filmmaking landscape and the tools professionals actually use. You learn to write prompts that get results, then generate your first cinematic images and shots before the day ends.

  2. Video, sound and visual language

    Advanced video generation, with AI sound, music and voice-over. Then the craft that ties it all together: shot language, camera movement and editing rhythm.

  3. Shoot day: make your film

    A full production day. You take your idea from script to screen: you generate, direct and edit your short film shot by shot, with hands-on guidance at every step.

  4. Premiere night at the SHIFT Festival

    The cohort’s films screen in front of a real audience, the audience votes, and the winning films are crowned. You leave with a finished film.

When is the workshop?

29 October to 1 November 2026, daily from 4 to 8 pm. Four fully hands-on days.

Where is the workshop held?

In Sharq, Kuwait City. You get the full address with your booking confirmation.

How much does it cost, and how do I pay?

220 KD, paid by KNET, Visa, Mastercard or Apple Pay on a secure payment page.

What if I cannot attend after booking?

Message us as early as you can. If there is still enough time before the cohort starts, a refund may be possible; otherwise your seat is usually moved to the next cohort. Write to admin@shiftkw.com or message us on WhatsApp.

Is the workshop in person?

Yes. It is held in person in Sharq, Kuwait City, daily from 4 to 8 pm.

Do I need any experience?

No. You need a laptop and a one-month Higgsfield subscription in your name; we send you the steps before the workshop.

Why do I subscribe to Higgsfield myself?

Because the account stays yours after the workshop, so you keep making films with it on your own credits. Before the workshop we send you the right plan and the steps to subscribe. You pay Higgsfield directly; the subscription is not included in the workshop fee.

Which tools do we work with?

We work with the AI tools filmmakers use today: ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini for the idea and the script; Midjourney and Nano Banana for images; Kling, Higgsfield, Seedance and Veo to animate the shots; Suno and ElevenLabs for music and voice. The list changes from one cohort to the next.

Can I make an ad or content for my brand?

Yes. The film you make in the workshop can be a short film, an ad or brand content.

What language is the workshop in?

Arabic and English.

Do I get a certificate?

Yes. You receive a certificate from DACUM for Consulting & Training when you complete the four days.

Do you train companies and organisations?
